A Message to Our Patients about Coronavirus (COVID-19
Dear Patients,
The outbreak of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) has continued to spread at the state, national and international level. The health and safety of our patients and staff has been and will continue to be our top priority. Our practice is closely monitoring the situation and strictly following the guidelines recommended by the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). We are taking every measure to reduce the spread of illness in our practice, including, but not limited to:
- Frequent hand washing
- Hand sanitizer available to patients and visitors in our practice
- Sanitizing frequently touched surfaces and equipment twice a day such as chairs, iPads, doorknobs, etc.
- Screening all incoming patients and visitors in-person and over the phone
- Closely monitoring our employees and any of their symptoms that may arise
If you or your child are experiencing any flu-like symptoms such as sneezing, cough, fever or running nose, we will reschedule your appointment for a later date. If you come to your appointment and appear ill or exhibit any of the above symptoms, we will politely ask you to reschedule your appointment. All cancellation fees due to illness will be waived until further notice. Any travel outside of the U.S. in the past 30 days must be disclosed before your appointment.
If you are at high risk for serious illness, you should consider additional precautions such as limiting close contact with others, avoiding crowds, and avoiding non-essential travel.
Our practice will continue to monitor the situation and take all necessary and precautionary measures to ensure safety for our patients and staff. As healthcare providers, we ask that you, our valued patients, do everything you can personally do to keep our staff exposure limited. This is the only way we will continue to be able to care for our patients.
