I am a Birmingham native and have lived in Vestavia Hills for most of my life. In 2015, I graduated from Louisiana State University with a degree a mass communication and a minor in Spanish. When I’m not working, you can find me eating sushi, traveling, or teaching a dance class. Dr. Sobera has a daughter who takes dance classes at the same studio I used to dance at in high school, and my former dance teacher connected us in 2016. I’ve worked at Village Dermatology for almost three years, and I am proud to say that I love what I do and the people I work with. Every day is something new and challenging, and I’m amazed at how much I’ve learned about myself in such a short amount of time. Dr. Sobera and the management team are so helpful, encouraging and positive; Village Dermatology is an incredible company to work for!
I was born in Alabama but grew up in Columbus, Ohio and moved back about 10 years ago to help take care of my mother who has multiple sclerosis. I love the aesthetic industry and have worked in the field for over 20yrs, for Bobbi Brown, Lancome, Philosophy and Tom Ford. My current role at Village Dermatology is in the scheduling department, but you may find me helping out in the ALC and in the retail store. When I’m not at work, I’m at home chasing after my two-year-old daughter Ava, if I get a chance to escape from Ava, I like painting, going to the movies, live shows (concerts, comedy) and I enjoy reading.
Donna has been with Village Dermatology since August 2008, when the practice first opened its doors. In the time she has been a part of Village Dermatology, she has been blessed to watch the office grow into the dynamic practice it is today.
I’m originally from Chattanooga, TN. I attended Auburn University, and in 2018 I graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Sciences with a concentration in pre-medicine and a minor in Business. I’ve been working at Village Dermatology for 7 months now, and I love every single day that I’ve been here. There’s always an opportunity to learn and to grow. My role at Village Dermatology is a medical assistant, so you’ll see me during your visit with us! My future plans are to be a physician, and I am currently reapplying to medical school. UPDATE – Briana is currently in medical school and pursuing her dream of becoming a physician!
