What is PiXel8-RF?

PiXel8-RF combines two well-known and frequently-administered technologies: microneedling and radiofrequency. Tiny, gold-coated needles deliver a consistent and exact depth of penetration and level of heat to the skin. When the skin is injured/heated, it stimulates collagen and elastin production and leads to resurfacing and tightening.

WHAT ARE THE BENEFITS?

This treatment stimulates collagen to improve skin tone, texture, fine lines, wrinkles and the appearance of pores.

PiXel8-RF can also rejuvenate the neck and tighten skin on the face and body. The energy delivered through the PiXel8-RF device can be adjusted to address each patient’s individual needs.

DOES IT HURT?

Patients may experience mild discomfort during treatment. However, we typically apply a topical numbing cream to the treatment area to make the procedure more tolerable. Additionally, patients can also add on Pro-Nox nitrous oxide (laughing gas) to any treatment to feel more relaxed.

IS THERE ANY DOWNTIME?

There is little to no downtime with PiXel8-RF. Patients may experience mild swelling and redness for a few days after treatment.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS WILL I NEED?

For optimal results, we typically recommend a series of three treatments, each spaced about a month apart.
